What photos do you need?

The photos that you email me need to be of the highest possible quality so that we can capture every detail possible. Upon receipt we shall advise you as soon as possible on the suitability of the photo provided.

How is my quote created?

Your quote wwill be based on the detail of the subject, the size required and whether a background is required. Example quotes are: For a portrait of your favourite pet with no background and A4 size this will be typically £300. For a similar portrait A3 size with no background this will start at £500 and with a background this will start at £750 dependent upon complexity of the background.

How is my artwork sent to me?

Once complete, the artwork is protected with a spray fixative to ensure no smudging. It will then be rolled and placed in a rigid cardboard tube ready to be sent by tracked postage.

What else do i need to provide?

I need to know what size drawing you are looking for. We currently offer either A4 (21cm x 29.7cm) or A3 size (29.7cm x 42cm). If you would like an alternative size this might be able to be accomodated dependant upon availability and subject matter. We will also need to know whether a background to a portrait is required or not.

How do I pay?

Once all of the terms have been agreed then we will ask for a 20% deposit in advance. Once the artwork is substantially under way then we will provide you with an image of the work to date and request a further 30% payment. Upon completion of the work we will require the remaining 50% to be paid along with post and packing charges.

Is it possible to have my artwork framed?

My expertise in the drawing itself and we prefer to leave framing to the experts. We can make recommendations of suitable framers and send the artwork direct to them if that is what you would like. You will need to organise framing and onward sending from there.
